Consider altering the lift angle from one of three settings i.e. the standard to somewhere in between and a vertical lift. A vertical lift is really handy for wheelchair transfers, hoist transfers, tall people and clients with mobility issues i.e. Parkinson’s disease. See here how this may look and drop us a note if you would like a guide on how to alter the settings.
There are two adjustment knobs under the leg rest that you can see when the leg rest is extended, that allow for 2’ to 3” of movement. You do need to fiddle about a little with the velcro supporting the chaise cover before you can slide it one way or the other.
The bottom two buttons on the hand control activate the Tilt in Space mechanism, and the top two activate the back.
The three back covers (Waterfall setup) and the soft lateral have zips which will allow you access to remove or adjust the internal filling. Feel free to open any of these and cut the inside cover to gain access to the filling (white). I suggest you put any filling into a plastic bag as you may need it again. On most jobs we adjust this filling so it’s pretty normal.
Our standard pressure care seat cushion on most but not all chairs is the Liquiform Gel cushion. I suggest you tell clients that it is initially firm but having a Gel insert will soon warm and soften up.
Common accessories you can order include soft and firm lateral supports, seat depth adjusters and a selection of alternative pressure care seat cushions and cushioning.
