PSB
sport Knee BraceProduct information
The PSB knee brace applies pressure around the knee joint,
resulting in a feeling of increased stability. The kneecap
is supported by a stiffened section, thus alleviating any
additional complaints around the kneecap itself. Using
the pale-blue power net, you can easily adjust the pressure
yourself. The sport brace in no way restricts the bending
movements. The strap around the calf and the silicone strips
on the inside ensure that the brace remains perfectly in
position and does not slip down the leg. Thanks to the
special Tactel(r) aquator material, that helps to discharge
perspiration from the skin and the breathable characteristics
of the material, the sport brace always feels comfortable.
Indication
The PSB knee brace can be used to counter a feeling of instability,
when returning to sport following a meniscus injury or
if you suffer from problems affecting the kneecap.
Sizing
The PSB knee brace is suitable for both left and right knee.
For the correct size, measure around the lower leg, just
below the knee.
Applying the brace
Step 1
The elastic strap and the pale-blue power net must first
be completely separated, before being tightened. The power
net must then be pulled downwards. The stiffened section
should be positioned to just below the kneecap. Because of
the tight fit, putting on the knee brace may take some effort
at first.
Step 2
The elastic strap should be closed just above the calf.
Step 3
The Velcro strip closure of the pale-blue power net is attached
to the upper edge of the brace. The power net can now be
pulled upwards and closed around the edge of the brace.
Step 4
Finally, the front of the power net must be closed. By selecting
the correct position for the Velcro strip connections,
the pressure can be individually adjusted.

PSB
sport Patella Knee BraceProduct information
The stiffened elements in the patella brace apply pressure
to the knee tendon and against the lower edge of the kneecap.
The tendon is relieved and pain alleviated. The patella
brace is easy to apply around the lower leg.
Indication
A patella brace is particularly suited for overuse injuries
around the kneecap. Above all for sports involving a great
deal of running (runner’s knee) and/or jumping (jumper’s
knee).
Sizing
The PSB patella brace is available in a one-size fits all
model.
Applying the brace
Step 1
The stiffened section should be positioned just below the
kneecap, on the knee tendon. The kneecap itself is in line
with the cutaway in the brace.
Step 2
The stiffened section should be held with one hand. Using
the free hand, the user can tension and close the strap
around the lower leg.

Product information
The thumb brace supports the thumb when the thumb joint has
become unstable as a result of straining of the joint ligament.
The strap in the brace as it were compensates for the additional
movement brought about by the damaged ligament. The brace
offers the joint protection, also against impact. The undamaged
joints remain free and the straps can be adjusted in such
a way that the thumb can function normally. The brace leaves
the wrist entirely free and in no way restricts the wrist
movement. The brace is perfectly suited for wearing during
sport. Another advantage: the PSB wrist brace offers exceptional
comfort and is easy for the wearer to apply.
Indication
The PSB thumb brace is used for the so-called skier’s
thumb: here there is residual instability (free movement)
as a result of an injury to the inside of the thumb joint.
The brace has specifically been developed for the joint at
the base of the thumb, also known as MCP 1.
Sizing
The PSB thumb brace is available for both left and right
thumb. For the correct size, measure around the middle
hand, below the lower finger knuckles.
Applying the brace
Step 1
Ensure that the two straps are loose. Insert the thumb through
the opening at the cap, and insert the little finger through
the loop intended for that finger. Close the brace on the
back of the hand. Pull the strap that runs over the palm
of the hand tight and attach it to the Velcro strip at the
little finger side.
Step 2
Pull the strap that runs over the back of the hand tight,
and attach it to the Velcro strip at the little finger
side. Adjust the two straps so that the thumb is well supported,
but you maintain the required degree of freedom of movement.
